- You must be 18 years old with a valid driver’s license from your country of origin to drive in Anguilla.
- A temporary Anguilla driver’s license is required, costing US $20, which can be obtained through the rental agency.
- Drivers in Anguilla drive on the left-hand side of the road.
- The speed limit is 30 miles per hour, dropping to 20 miles per hour around schools and villages.
- Some rental car companies may require you to have held a driver’s license for at least two years and be at least 23, or in some cases 26, to rent a car.
- Children under four are required to be in a child restraint seat.

Taxis in Anguilla are best for short trips as fares can be expensive, with extra charges after 6 pm, for additional people, and for baggage.
